100 Percent Pure Pretty Naked Palette Review

I had a request to share my recommendations on a clean eye shadow and blush palette, my favorite hand soap review will have to wait! Here is the 100 Percent Pure Pretty Naked Palette review!

About 100 Percent Pure

100 Percent Pure is a makeup company located in Silicon Valley in California. Their products are manufactured in the United States of America. They offer an assortment of organic beauty products that are all natural, soy free, free of synthetic chemicals, fragrances, and preservatives, all cruelty free and mostly vegan (some products utilize beeswax). Their products have pretty long lists of ingredients due to using fruits, veggies, and plants as dyes and scents. I’ve found their customer service to be top notch, they’re very helpful with any ingredient question, and so friendly. 100 Percent Pure offers fruit dyed makeup, a full facial care line, shampoos and conditioners, and body/shower products. The first product I purchased from them was the 100 Percent Pure Pretty Naked Palette.

Pretty Naked Palette

The Pretty Naked Palette comes with three neutral shades of eye shadow, a blush, and a luminescent powder. They have a collection of five palettes but this one has my favorite colors for everyday looks. Each palette is made from post consumer recycled cardboard and has a mirror inside. A magnetic closure keeps it sealed when not in use. The pans spin in their slots, it doesn’t bother me but I thought I’d mention it. It measures 7.5″long x 2″ wide x .5″ deep.

Eye Shadows

The three eye shadows have a light shimmer and range from a soft, pale golden peach (Flax Seed), to a metallic taupe (Toffee), and the darkest shade is a deep coppery chocolate (Chestnut). The shadows are fairly sheer but buildable, easy to go from a day to night look. Each shade goes on very smoothly and blends easily. They don’t crease and last the whole day without a primer. You could apply them wet for a more deeply saturated look.

Blush

The blush included in this palette is called Pretty Naked and would compliment many skin tones. It’s a lovely dusty rose shade. Again, fairly sheer and buildable. The blush has a soft, creamy quality and is easily applied with your favorite blush brush.

Luminescent Powder

Luminizer, the highlighting powder included in the Pretty Naked Palette, has a beautiful pink undertone. It compliments the included blush and shadows and offers a light highlighting and shimmering quality to wherever you apply it. I like to use a fan brush or one with loosely packed bristles to get a very light application.

Left side: bathroom lighting, Right side: natural lighting. Top to bottom: Chestnut, Toffee, Flax Seed eye shadows, Pretty Naked blush, Luminizer highlighting powder. I used my finger to apply these on my forearm for color saturation.

Cost

Each of their five palettes cost $45. In my opinion, this is a fantastic price for what you get. The three shadows included are full size and cost $19 individually, two of them cannot be purchased on their own. The blush and luminescent powder included are nearly half the size of their full products and if purchased individually run $35 each. Bring the five items together in a convenient package with coordinating colors and it’s a fantastic deal!!

Ingredients

All of the ingredients for each product are listed on their website and also on the packaging of every item. All five of these pressed powders have rice starch as a foundation. The rest of the ingredients are things like avocado butter, cacao, pomegranate, cranberry, strawberry, and black tea. Each item has tocopherols (vitamin E) and 100 Percent Pure uses rice derived vitamin E. They also have sodium ascorbate (vitamin C). My palette lists sodium ascorbate on all five items while their website lists ascorbyl palmitate as the vitamin C in the shadows. They use citrus juice for their sodium ascorbate and skin of oranges for their ascorbic palmitate. Mica is a mineral ingredient in all of them, it gives each of the pressed powders a beautiful shimmer. These palettes are corn free. (100 Percent Pure does use corn derived alcohol in some products, although they’re looking for a rice source)

Company Perks

Besides the amazing ingredients and wonderful products, 100 Percent Pure uses a point system called Purist Perks. For every dollar you spend, you get a point. At 100 points, you can redeem them for a number of different FULL SIZED products ranging from blush to hand or body cream. The next level of points is 350 and gets you full sized items like a trio of satin eye shadows, body wash and cream, a palette just like this one, and more. Check out the full list of them HERE.

Every month they offer freebies! Who doesn’t love free stuff?! This month (March) they’re offering a free 5 pack of their Ginseng Collagen Boosting Masks, worth $29, free when you spend $90. They also offer shorter promotions, so sign up for their emails! I scored free lip butters and a fruit pigmented luminizer, lip and cheek tint, and their luminous primer for $50, worth $100 both in February.

Samples are also included in your shimpment. I received three trial packets of a shampoo in my last haul.

Returns and Shipping

100 Percent Pure has a fabulous return policy. Any item you’re unsatisfied with, you can return within 30 days, even if it’s partially used. I haven’t had to do this as I’ve been obsessed with everything I’ve purchased, but it makes me feel better about selecting colors online. If you have questions about colors, they use fan’s Instagram pics on their page to look at products on faces and skin. They’ll also email you pictures of product swatches if you need more help.

100 Percent Pure offers free shipping over $50. I’ll be honest, I love free shipping, but theirs is pretty slow. They do ship within a day or two of ordering but use UPS and it tends to take a day or two over a week. I’m going to try the upgraded shipping next time for an additional $2.

I hope this review helps you guys decide if this palette is right for you. Snatch yours up today by shopping HERE. I love it and can’t wait to buy another one or two!
